Linux System Administrator
Norton Street Business Services is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator who can earn the trust of our customers and provide them with friendly and efficient support.

As a Linux System Administrator for our IT Services company, you will:
- Provide server and network support including instantiating virtual machines, network troubleshooting, diagnosing security errors, designing small networks, and configuring routers.
- Provide desktop support, including for email, Internet connectivity, file sharing, mission-critical applications, virus and spyware removal, and on-line backups.
- Advise customers on equipment and software purchases and assist with installation.
- Repair and upgrade hardware.
- Expand our customers’ online presence through purchase of domain names and hosting, monitoring site traffic, content updates, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and migration to Content Management Systems (CMS).
Your background should include at least 5 of the following:
- Linux sys admin experience
- Windows server admin
- LAMP sys admin experience
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent
- Virtual server experience: VMware, Virtual server, vSphere, ESXi, Rackspace, Linode, AWS EC2
- Network and Internet troubleshooting
- 4-year liberal arts degree preferred
- Awesome verbal and written communication skills required
